For years, camps have traditionally taken their own
photographs, usually trusting a staff member or counselor to
run around each day taking snapshots. Why is what we do
different? What is our process? We look for the perfect
location, great lighting, an interesting perspective, creative
composition and an easygoing interaction with the subject, and
turn it all into an amazing photograph. In most
cases, the day prior to the first shoot day is a
travel/scout/prep day. The photographer will arrive at camp
and walk the property, discussing the shots you wish to
accomplish. After putting together this ³wish list², he will
put together a proposed shot list that makes the best use of
the light and location for each shot. Our photographers don't
run from activity to activity taking quick snapshots and
hoping they come out ³okay². Our shots are
scheduled, well thought out, propped and planned to give you
the best results possible. For this reason, it takes about
three days of shooting to capture the activities most
directors find important. The last day is a
processing day. All of our photos are shot digitally on the
highest quality professional digital camera systems on the
market today. On the processing day, the photographer will
edit the image files and process them as high-res files. These
image files are large enough for all of your brochure or
printing needs and can also be used for web use. Once the
files are processed, color corrected, retouched and optimized,
they are burned to CDs and handed to you before he leaves. Not
only will you have been able to view the photos as they're
being shot, your final photos will be delivered to you on the
last day of the shoot! How's that for service?
In short, we supply you with beautiful photos
that illustrate what the camp experience is all about. Please
take a moment a view what past clients have to say about our
services in the testimonials section.
